Earlier in the year Royal Mail issued a set of stamps commemorating a variety of Classic Album Covers including The Division Bell by Pink Floyd. This particular stamp was subsequently selected to feature in a Miniature Sheet with 10 examples of the stamp, the lyrics of the song and the suggestion of an LP sliding out of the right hand side. This is a highly unusual addition to the stamp calendar and even more unusually Royal Mail provided NO FIRST DAY COVER facilities whatsoever leaving thousands of collectors with a serious gap in their collection. This probably has everything to do with the unusual dimensions of the sheet.
 
The 6th March date of release - clearly visible on the postmark - is no coincidence. Fans of the band will immediately recognise it as Dave Gilmour's birthday. Maybe the powers that be at Royal Mail are fans as well!
 
We have produced two different items; both are Limited Editions of just 250 examples.
  • The first is a sheetlet of 10 mounted onto our own Limited Edition design presentation card showing Big Ben at the right and individually numbered at the foot. This is available for £19.99 plus £2 UK P&P.
  •  The second item is a single stamp mounted onto the same card, as per the image dislayed, with one of the alternative officially sponsored postmarks affixing the stamp to the card. This too is a Limited Edition of just 250 and is available for £9.99 plus £2 UK P&P.
UK Customers may purchase both for £29.90 POST-FREE and EU/Worldwide customers may also buy both for just the one postage cost.
 

Worldwide delivery is charged at cost when we process your order which will be £5 for up to 2 of these items. If you missed out on our previous official licensed First Day Cover featuring artwork from the album and a promotion picture of the band, in addition to a specially produced postmark, whilst stocks last, these can also be included on your order with no additional shipping costs.
